Hosting changes

After a while, the site it’s up again.  To correctly deploy a Ruby on Rails application it’s an easy task only when you’re one of the lucky ones with dedicated RoR hosting. For the rest of us, it’s necessary to tweak a lot of configuration parameters and it’s really a pain in the ass. Luckily there’s now an application to enable the deploy of RoR applications inside Apache with a performance equal or better than the performance of Mongrel, Phusion Passenger.

There are some easy enough installation instructions.

P.S: you could reach even a 33% improvement in performance installing Ruby Enterprise Edition (also free in spite of its name).
